We have been celebrating World Book Day by sharing our favourite books and wearing some brilliant costumes! We’ve seen Harry Potter, Fairies, Bears, Tigers, Superheroes, Star Wars, Princesses, Knights and Pirates… Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was our units’ book and we have been doing some reading, watching, writing, drawing and acting from the story. We learnt the World Book Day song, ‘Pick Up A Book’ and sang it with the rest of the school in assembly. Now that we’re feeling inspired, it’s time to spend our World Book Day vouchers and read another book!
