Picasso Portraits

In Art this term, the children have been studying the artist Pablo Picasso and creating abstract self-portraits inspired by his famous painting ‘The Weeping Woman’. The children have learnt to use different pencils to create lines of different lengths and thicknesses and they have used photographed features to create an abstract collage. They then combined these ideas and skills to create their final brightly coloured, abstract portrait piece.
